Although cursed items in 4e are still around, they seem to have lost their game-ruining panache. I think fun and heroism are a great part of the 4e philosophy, however I’d like to see cursed items make their way back to the table. La última aventura publicada por WotC nos presenta un complicado reto con el señor de los demonios y de los no muertos, Orcus, como archienemigo.
Orcus tratará de usurpar el poder sobre la muerte que ahora ostenta la Reina Cuervo (o Reina Negra), utilizando para ello un fragmento de maldad pura arrancado de las profundidades del mismísimo Abismo. Y sólo los mejores aventureros vivos sobre la tierra podrán oponerse.
Esta aventura está orientada a "llevar" a personajes de nivel 27 hasta el 30. Puede utilizarse de forma independiente, o como epílogo de la trilogía que conforman las aventuras "Death's Reach", "Kingdom of the Ghouls" y esta misma de "Prince of Undeath", en ese orden.
