			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Comenzó como un aviso lanzado a finales de la pasada semana, al percatarse un usuario de que<img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1112" title="Gamma World" src="http://detrasdelapantalla.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gamma_world.jpg" alt="Gamma World" width="191" height="255" /> aparecía en <strong>Amazon</strong> un nuevo suplemento en formato <em>caja</em> de <em>Wizards of the Coast </em>sobre <strong>Gamma World. </strong>Esta caja está programada, según la información de <strong>Amazon</strong>, para octubre de 2010.<br />
A partir de ahí se propagaron los rumores y las especulaciones, corrieron <em>tweets</em> sobre el tema, y algunos foros aventuraban las reglas de la nueva encarnación del mítico título.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Pero fue este martes cuando <em><acronym title="Wizards of the Coast">WotC</acronym></em> colgó en su página web el anuncio oficial del producto, haciendo realidad el sueño de muchos.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">El nuevo <strong>Gamma World</strong> está firmado por <em>Richard Baker</em> y <em>Bruce R. Cordell, </em>y se publicará en formato <em>caja</em>, con un manual de 160 páginas, 2 láminas troqueladas de marcadores o <em>tokens</em> para monstruos y personajes, 2 mapas a doble cara para los combates, cartas de poderes (semejantes a las publicadas para <acronym title="Dungeons & Dragons">DnD</acronym>) y una baraja de cartas de poderes mutantes.<br />
Utilizará el sistema de <acronym title="Dungeons & Dragons">DnD</acronym> 4, aunque no serán necesarios otros manuales o accesorios ajenos a los de la caja.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Gamma World</strong> fue un juego <em>postapocalíptico</em> publicado por <strong><em><acronym title="Tactical Studies Rules">TSR</acronym></em></strong> en 1978, basado en gran medida en otro juego, <strong>Metamorphosis Alpha</strong>, de <em>James M. Ward</em>, quien también firmó el propio <strong>GW</strong>. Aunque desde entonces se han publicado seis ediciones (la de <acronym title="Wizards of the Coast">WotC</acronym> será la séptima) y existen diferencias entre ellas, todas mantienen en común la inexistencia de gobiernos a nivel superior, es decir, no existen naciones; podríamos decir que las únicas administraciones tendrían nivel de <em>pueblo</em> o <em>aldea</em>.<br />
Una de las características que siempre llamó la atención de este juego fueron los <em>mutantes</em> y sus poderes.</p>
