Celtic Legends: gaitas, violines y danza

Adventuring With A Sub-Optimal Party (Part 3) from Dungeon's Master

The Dungeon Master’s Guide recommends that an adventuring party be comprised of five adventurers with all four roles being covered. Of course there are going to be instances where only three of four roles are represented in an adventuring party. Maybe you’re playing in a public game,…

When it comes to skill challenges, failure is not an option. “Of course,” you say. “No one wants to fail a skill challenge.” But this means something else entirely.

D&D Encounters Dark Sun (Week 1) from Dungeon's Master

The first session of D&D Encounters: Dark Sun was a sink or swim lesson in desert survival. This second season of the program takes place on the world Athas, an endless expanse of sand and searing heat having been blasted lifeless by the ravaging effects of magic. On Athas the majority of the..

There’s a common impression that there’s no job more thankless than being a Healer. Much like the Tank, they don’t really get a lot of the glory. However, unlike the tank, the loss of a healer is something that players try to avoid at all costs. Everyone knows that healers are…

One of the suggestions in Chapter 1 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG) is to inform your players of the style of game you will run before the game starts. This is suggested so that the players can are prepared for the world in which their PCs will be living, and I think it is

A 4e D&D Rules Question: Teleporting What You Can’t See from Dungeon's Master

DMs are encouraged to say yes whenever possible in 4e D&D. But in a recent game we experienced a situation that was very unusual and saying yes didn’t seem appropriate. As the DM I said no at the time but agreed that we should do some investigation before the situation happens again.
